Our Home Care, Meals-On-Wheels, and Medical Transportation services are partially funded from the Hamilton County (Cincinnati) Elderly Services Program Levy and PASSPORT Ohio Medicaid Waiver program. These traditional funding sources do not cover all expenses, resulting in a funding gap.

In addition, most of our clients will reach their monthly maximum benefit provided by traditional funding sources before the end of the month. With your help Wesley Community Services will be there to provide extra Meals-On-Wheels, extra hours of Home Care, and extra Medical Transportation. And for seniors who do not qualify for government funding your gift to Wesley Community Services will improve their quality of life by providing basic necessities such as food, medical transportation, housekeeping and the opportunity to socialize among peers. Your gift to Wesley Community Services Bridge-the-Gap Benevolent Care Fund will greatly improve the standard of living for elderly indigent seniors in our community.

At Wesley Community Services we realize that some of you might want to make a larger donation but do not do so because of budget restrictions. We totally understand, so if you would like to make smaller donations over an extended period of time, we will be more than happy to accommodate you. As an example, $144 a year payable by $12 a month, or $200 a year payable by $50 a quarter, is easy to do and takes just seconds.

» Your gift of $48 will provide Homemaker/Housekeeping for 2 hours by a bonded and insured Home Care Specialist who will dust, mop, vacuum, wash/iron clothes, and shop, do errands for a senior who is unable to do so because of physical limitations.

» Your gift of $42.70 will provide nutritious meals for 1 week, or $183 for 1 month. We also make available physician prescribed SENIOR CHOICE MEALS^TM for seniors with severe kidney disease, high blood pressure or diabetes, and offer pureed and mechanical soft meals for seniors with chewing/swallowing problems.

» Your gift of $60 will provide 1 round trip wheelchair accessible medical transport for a senior who must get to the doctor, dentist, hospital or treatment appointment because they do not drive. We provide door-to-door service six days a week including evening transports in clean comfortable vans and automobiles.
